Cheap replacement or regenerated original 3M Adflo battery?

Cheap 3M Adflo replacement batteries are tempting on price, but they often have poorly fitting latches, can overheat and don't work properly with the charge indicator. Regeneration keeps your original 3M housing and factory BMS and replaces only the cells – so the battery fits and works exactly as it should.
Common problems with replacement batteries
- Latches – the housing doesn't sit securely in the blower unit. When you move around, the battery can work loose or fall out.
- Overheating – unknown cells and simplified electronics cope worse with high current draw, for example in Turbo mode.
- Charge indicator – shows the wrong level or doesn't work at all, so you don't know how much runtime is left.
- Charger compatibility – charging errors on the original 3M charger are not uncommon.

Blower unit safety
A PAPR blower is respiratory protective equipment. A battery that falls out, overheats or suddenly cuts power is not just an interruption to work – it is a risk to the welder. By keeping the original housing and BMS, regeneration eliminates fit problems: the battery sits in the unit just as securely as a new one.

- No. Your original 3M housing with its factory latches stays, so the battery fits exactly as before.

- Yes. The electronics are calibrated to the new pack capacity.

- We regenerate original 3M Adflo 837640 and 837631 batteries. If you still have your old original, it's worth regenerating it rather than buying another replacement.
